Reset tool, I purchased a Peake Research tool from the back of a car and driver. I have also seen the same/simular tools from other sources. Mine works and can also read codes.
I contacted my dealer for my radio code, you have to pull the radio for the s/n-model number and have your vin (I think).
Rear window, there is some post on this on this forum, looks easy does hard. Take your time and read up on it first.
I avoided the gas and temp, I do not have a clue. check service manuals? I have heard Bentley is really good, I do not have one. I have been using the Haynes.
Bavarian Autosport has also been good to me. www.bavauto.com in case you do not have a local dealer.
Join your local BMWCCA and I bet the members could help also. My dealer has been a great source of info and parts too.
Best of luck, hope this helps.
