Subject: Front side marker bulb replacement

This is a pretty simple DIY replacement writeup but, what the heck, someone might want to know...

If you get the "Parking Lights" message in the check control display and your front side marker lights aren't working, here's how to replace the bulb.


Replacement bulbs from Advance Auto Parts (Sylvania 2825).


The front left side marker light with a bad bulb.



Begin by using your finger to pry out the trailing edge of the light housing in the bumper trim.



Disconnect the plastic plug on the back. Just press the plastic clips on the sides and it pulls straight out.


Twist the plastic bulb holder out of it's socket in the light housing, then pull the bulb out of the holder. Insert new bulb and reverse the process. Total time is just a couple of minutes and no tools required!
