The DICE will no longer have the direct digital audio connection to the DSP amp with the BM53. You need the analog CD audio cable, part number 61.12-0 140 718. That should solve #3.

For #2, try disconnecting and rotating the silver 10-pin radio plugs 180 degrees. These are not keyed, so it is very easy to plug both swap them and plug them in backwards. So, give them a careful visual to confirm that the appropriate plugs are connected in your old-to-new radio adapter harness.
