To me little rattle, clicks, clanking and other small noises that can come about while driving, drives me nuts. A lot of people will say turn up the music, but there are times I want silence. Well I paid the whopping $.48 for the "fix" and spent about a 1/2 hour fixing it the damn seat belt click thing.

Here's my pdf in case I miss something in this post.

Flat head screwdriver to remove front drivers plastic trim:

Remove any clips that remain with some type of pliers. *I only removed the front trim, for me it was not required to remove the rear trim piece*:

Start by removing the lower B pillar panel, just grab the bottom and pull out:

Now the top trim, again grab the bottom and pull out:

This is the back of bottom panel. The top arrows represent the hooks, the bottom are clips:

This is the back of the top panel. The top is a hook, the bottom are clips:

Now remove the bolt that holds the seatbelt, it a 17mm:

This is the piece we are replacing:

Old left and New right, big difference:

Tool of choice to remove old ring:

Rings and clip that holds the things in place:

New one installed:

Front of clip:

Put it back together and you should be good to go. Upon my test drive over the most notorious roads for causing my click, I am happy to report it's fixed!

Easy fix that gets rid of that dang “click” the seat belt would make. Make sure you properly re-torque seat belt bolt, I used 29 foot lbs.

Tools needed are easy:
- Flat Head Screwdriver
- Pliers
- Torque Wrench
- 17mm Socket that fits torque wrench
- Tools of choice or small flat blade screwdriver to separate parts

My total time was about a ˝ hour.
