Well over the weekend I installed a 12" sub in a sealed 3/4" MDF enclosure in the trunk and attached an Audiobahn mono amp to the side of the enclosure. I also ran 3 sets of stereo RCA interconnects from the front to the back alongside the other wires. It was a real hassle to get the wire underneath the center console and past the gear shift. I did it with a straightened metal hanger.

Also I looked at the electrical schematic and found the remote wire from the head unit that provides 12V only when the head unit is turned on. I spliced it and provided the feed to my sub amp. Now both the factory and sub amps turn on when I turn on my head unit, brilliant. Sounds great with some bass. Pics to follow soon.

I now have RCA interconnect wiring for 6 channels from head unit to trunk, so eventually I'll drop in a JVC DVD receiver and have a 5.1 dolby digital movie theater on wheels.
