Hey guys, I just recently got my car back from the shop after having the transmission replaced. My car had been sitting for about a year, and as you can imagine, there were a few things that needed to be replaced. The question I have is in regards to the Oxygen Sensors. My check engine light is currently on, and the shop said that the Oxygen Sensors are bad. I assume they did the stomp test or hooked up their tester to it. I am going to need to get it registered pretty shortly at the DMV, and in order to get my tags I need to do a smog test. The weird thing about this whole thing is that the car idles and runs great, and also the check engine light goes off when driving freeway speeds. City is where it shows up. Would the Oxygen Sensors really have anything to do with Check Engine light showing up at city driving, but not freeway? Thanks already for your help.

By the way, I dont know if this will help, but the fuel pumps failed so they were replaced also at the shop.
