Okay, I've been bad and not been posting updates like I said I would, small children, fishing and duck hunting have been swallowing my precious few hours up and now it is getting cold and windy!

Anyhoo, the car is almost back together, I have to re-assemble the A/C system, put all of the pulleys and such back on, run a few more new vacuum lines and attach hoses, throw the condenser and radiator back on and that's about it, apart from plugging the wire harness back in.

For those who may want instructions or advice here are some of the things I have taken apart and cleaned:

Entire (Engine bay) A/C system parts.
Power steering pump (Rebuild posted separately)
T-stat housing and water pump
Entire power steering system cleaned, hose clamps replaced
Intake manifold cleaned, Injectors ultrasonic-cleaned (This is experimental, if it works I'll tell you what I did!), all other intake related parts cleaned.
Scrubbed everything I could reach under the hood as far as body work goes.
Repaired heater valve and vent flap diaphragms
Painted cowl and cowl grill.
Painted side mirrors.
(Still to come) Custom crossover network to power door tweeters.

Parts that got, or are getting replaced -
All vac hoses under the hood, some of them were quite rotten.
New breather hose.
Rebuilt alternator $80 at Autozone
New seals for P/S pump
A/C conversion kit (Still to come)
Tons of hose clamps!
New fuel lines

That's about it really, apart from lots of scrubbing and skinned knuckles.

There are a lot of things I wanted to do with this cleanup, I'll probably tackle most of them one at a time during the coming year.
If anyone needs any advice or instructions for taking things apart let me know, I have learned much from this experience.

K
