I purchased an OBD II reader and no faults are indicated. Car starts and runs fine until it decides to act up and will continue until its shut off and restarted. If it is the CPS would this have stored a fault code? Service Engine light does come on when it happens and goes out on restart. I also tried to reset the oil and inspection lights by jumping pins 7 and 9. I turned the ignition to full position without starting and waited about 15 seconds. Removed the wire and turned the key to off. The lights will not reset, am I doing something wrong? - Thanks
