I am new to this but have a question, if I am reading this posting correct then it appears that the common problem is fixable, may not be necessary to buy a new resistor pack. I am wondering though if this pack will go back in once repaired, I mean is it so delicate that the wires or coils might get the least bit out of align and not go back or even short something out. If it is reapairable then it save going and buying a new one and then returning it if not used or waiting to work on it until a new pack is in hand. Any moral support for a novice repairing this problem.
