Someeasy things to check.

1. There MUST BE NO air leaks (period) between the AFM and the intake.

2. Do you have the OEM plugs. If not get a fresh set of OEM Bosch plugs.. Don't waste your money on the fancy four-prong platinum crap. They are a waste of money and after a few weeks, youprobably would not pass an emissions sniff test.

3 How old is the o2 sensor? If a 1-wire, and more thant 40k miles old, get a new one. If a 3 wire and more than 80k miles, get a new one.

4. Dribble some water near the injector base. if it gets sucked in, youhave leaky injector seals. Best choice get the injectors cleaned, rebuilt and blue printed at RCENG.com. They are the best. Period.

5. Read the voltage at the o2 sensor withthecar fully warmed.

Now disconnect the o2 from the motronic and take another reading.

What are they.

6. To check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is regulating, disconnect the o2 sensor, get the reading, then disconnect the vac line from the FPR. The voltage should go up. If it does not, change it.

7. Have youever adjusted the valves? That alone will make a WORLD of difference.
