Yes, this list will give you Bluetooth in your E38. You will have to do a slight wiring mod to get the "I-Bus" signal wire to the TCU, but that is it.

Yes, NavCoder will activate the voice recognition feature in your car.

You will need to upgrade your steering wheel buttons to get the VR feature. The older style buttons do not support the "push and hold" function to initiate a voice recognition command. If you search the forum, you will find a few posts from a member named "silber98" who figured this out and documented the required button changes.

Finally, it does not matter which CD changer version you have. The audio system is independent of the phone system when it comes to the BT upgrade.
