OEM Bimmer Parts

Subject: I have a friend with a x5 and the dealer labor is killing

him. He had a small leak that he could not find, so he took it to

the dealer. They did the water pump ,valley pan... about 2k work of

work. he stoed the car for the winter and now he notice he still

have the leak and getting worse. He took it back to dealer and now

they said they suspect the coolant passage end cover is the cause

and the transmission will have to come out because it is inbetween

the flywheel and engine and it will be another $1400.00. I can not

find anything on this in TIS or parts list. Where do I look?

Also , do anyone feel like he got shaft besides me?
