It can be tricky. You are probably getting "test" and the information related.
Try this: press the reset button and hold it WHILE turning the key to position 1. For the first 4 seconds you will still see test but it should go to reset.
Once you see "'RESET' 'Inspection' '-2200'" press and hold the button again until it flashes then QUICKLY release and momentarily press the button again.
It should now show the Oil Service and km (miles).
