Squealing brake pads are usually caused by grooves in the rotors. If you don't have the rotors machined when you put new pads on, they'll squeal. A couple months ago I put new pads on my 528 without having the rotors done and it sounded like a city bus when I stopped! It hadn't done that before. I re-did the brake job properly and it has no squeal.
