It wasn't official... It wasn't sanctioned... but a small complement of DFW7 members happened to be available at the same time on Saturday so we made it a mini-meet. Pics and all.



I was meeting another club member (Michael & Kathleen) to sell my old tires/basketweaves. In the meantime a brand new club member (Trey) asked about the next meet, so a last minute invite turned into a trio of E38s.



The white '97 is Michael's. He's had it for a while and is about to take a trip to Kansas (i think) and was needing a good spare tire. Now he's got 4. The black '01 is Trey's. He's only had it for 2 weeks. He got a great deal and he is looking to give it some TLC.

We talked about Indy mechanics and buying parts and I did my plug for Euro Connection (Nino) and Max (oembimmerparts.com). It was a fun 45 minutes or so. Rain stopped long enough to get a few pics. i just "happened" to have my camera.

Everyone is excited and looking forward to doing laps at Texas Motor Speedway come September.

So... Great to meet you guys. Michael/Kathleen, have a safe trip to Kansas. Trey, see you at the next meet and get Nino to take care of those valve-cover gaskets.
