This site has the diagrams of all the parts your car was made with. Just put on the last 7 digits of your VIN and it lets you browse the diagrams.

Select a category>sub category>select diagram>look at the list of parts.

Your part is available from any BMW dealer nationwide on a 2 day shipped from the warehouse basis at BMW prices. David at ecartoys sells this part as does Stevehaygood.com (send an email with phone number and he'll call you and sell you the part). Both will tell you how to replace it.

This is standard for most BMW parts that have aftermarket sources which are many. BMW specific parts can also be source from these two guys. Their shipping is quick because the company they get parts from has warehouses around the country. I have had stuff show up the next day.

But your CSB can't be sourced overnight at reasonable cost and if it truly is shot, the rubber is gone, I don't think it will ruin the world to drive the car carefully if you have to.

Try those sources and the diagrams link and let us know what's up and we'll get the car going again so something else will need attention. The car is old, that is the way it is and that is why this board is active.
