Kevin,

Thanks for the information about 3M Swirl Mark Remover. That stuff is fantastic!
I had almost given up on my exterior paint after years of car washes (and the last four years have been in Texas with gritty Texas Dirt).
The swirl marks I had were very annoying to me when the sun hit the car at certain angles.
I even paid $120 to have the car professionally buffed but it did not help.

I used the Swirl Mark Remover and it removed almost all of the scratches. Then I put on a coat of 3m Hand Glaze and it got rid of every scratch. Not exaggerating here. My 1995 740i paint looks like it did when I got it off the show room floor in 1995.

I highly recommend these products. I found them at Pep Boys automotive in Austin.
