them. As far as the clearcoat goes; I suppose you could remove it all, but it's pretty thick. It would be extremely tough to do with such a light cut compound.

I tried using paste and liquid waxes in the car before removing the whole part, but the scratches were just too deep to fill with wax. Now that I've fixed them, I figure I can avoid the issue by protecting with zaino and being careful.
