3Ms fine cut is really a light cutting compound which I've used for several years and like it. It is very good for fine scratches that are either caused by 1200 or 1500 grit sanding or from improper washing and general ware and tear. I strongly reccomend machine application. It should be followed by a Swirl Mark remover to bring back the deep shine.

Swirl Mark remover is designed to remove very light scratches and swirl marks. Also best with machine, random orbital, but doable by hand. Hand application, howver, takes a lot of work.

Imperial Hand Glaze is just that, a glaze. Which is best used for the final gloss enhancing before the final coat of wax or sealant.

3M makes some very good products and I've used them and many other brands with very good results.

Hope this helps.
