Oops, slipped up in the above post ...sorry.

Just thought I would place a follow-up on the cat removal.
The car is running well... very well infact. I remembered that when I brought the car, I had also brought a G-tech accelometer (sp?) around the same time and had stored the cars 1/4 mile data. I found the file on the computer and plugged the G-tech into the car to see if there were any REAL gains or was it just kidding myself it is now faster.

The car is just a stock 97 540i auto and is currently running on regular gas with the trans shifting itself in "sport" mode. When originally tested, I don't know if it had any cat issues.... it seemed to be running well when purchased which was around 1 yr ago.
The results? It is now running a 14.3sec 1/4 mile .... 0.8secs faster than the original test. 0-60mph is now 5.9secs flat .... previous test was 6.65secs. A major improvement, especially since its only running on regular !??!
