Subject: Re: What do you guys think about these?

Yeah, I usually get anxious and try to do too much at once. I try to follow Dave's project notes and the recommendations from the Bimmer mag whenever possible. Plus I try to work on my mom's '94 e34 530i and dad's '97 MB w210 e420. The odometer stopped at 155,747 before I took over the title.

Here's a list of things I'd like to do, based on mileage and what I've noticed so far (in no particular order):

Replace brake pads and rotors, new brake fluid, SS lines, rebuild calipers
New control arms, Pitman arms, tie rods, springs, shocks, and anti-roll bars
HVAC overhaul, replace gauge cluster and in-cabin filter
Coolant change, replace thermostat housing, radiator hoses, and water pump
Change P/S fluid
Paint job and body work
New headlights, replace all bulbs
Restore interior, fix front passenger side seat gears
New window motors, antenna, and radio
Flex disc/guido

The price on the engine dropped to $550, so I just kind of thought well instead of fixing something I would probably end up rebuilding, why not look at getting one already done, though I've never had any experience dealing with something of this magnitude (whether having a shop do it or trying myself).

After a long search, I finally got rid of the TRX's and put the Style 61's with 205/55/16 Sumitomos; what a difference.

I did change the main relay (5-prong), as well as the two next to the fuse box under the rubber covers. Everything seems better, though I still got the dying issue where everything would shut down (twice when I was in reverse, which has happened before, and the other earlier today in the parking lot moving forward). It's only occurred those three times since the relay replacement (which was about 2-3 months ago), whereas before it happened rather often.
