Thanks Sean for the tip. Guess what.... I drove the car to buy a new set of spark plugs because I figured the plugs were the main culprit. When I was on my way home going through the hi-way, I stepped on the gas and really really pushed the car to the limit, as in got the rev all the way up to 4000 (that's the limit for a 528e as you well know) and raced it like hell. When I got to halt the car because of a red light somewhere at the end of the hi-way, I notice the engine suddenly running very smoothly... as in perfect condition. And not only that. It performs as if it just had a tune up.

So I think I solved my problem. But the thing is, what caused it to misfire ? Was it more of a fuel delivery problem than a spark plug issue ?
