So a few weeks ago I had my radiator replaced by a shop in town..I've taken my cars there a few times before as the mechanic there, Kevin, is a pretty cool guy and seemed on the level. So apparently the correct clips for the radiator weren't used when they first gave it to me so after I had driven it home I heard a loud noise and noticed the fan shroud was broken. Took it back to deal with the clips and the shroud, was told it would have a new shroud..got it back the next day, seemed fine.

It broke again yesterday. I took it out and noticed they had taken my old one that broke thanks to THEM and they had TAPED it back together.

What a pain in the ass. I took it there becasue it had died midweek and I didn't want to deal with it at the time, you know? I could have just done it myself in a hour with all the proper parts and not had any problems. Ugh. How come so many mechanics are full of it? Always cutting corners. You'd think he'd be hesitant to do that with an enthusiats car who would obviously notice..
