Just to let you know, you posted the joke, not me. Whatever people perceive about you as a result, you brought that on yourself.

I'm not going to judge you on your brand of humor, but I can tell you, your brand of humor wasn't kind. Tell me, would you have told that joke to Michelle Obama in person? How about to her husband? Her children? What did any of those people ever do to you personally? What if the Obamas made the same joke about you, calling you out by name, on national TV? Would you find that just as humorous? It's easy to tell a "joke" reducing a person to a "dangerous" archnid that "sucks the life out of its mate" while hiding behind the anonymnity of the internet. If it's so "funny," and so "harmless," why hide it? Why not tell the jokes to the target of your attack (Michelle Obama, who I might add, wasn't even in the running for President) in person and see if you get the desired reaction (laughter)? Really, why wouldn't you? Is it not as funny under those circumstances?

I thought the purpose of a joke was to laugh WITH someone, not to denigrate or dehumanize them.

Last time I checked, Michelle Obama was still a human being. I just wonder if she and her human family (her husband and children) would have shared your taste in humor.

Oh sure, I'm all for freedom of speech. But I'm not into yelling fire in a crowded theater where no such threat is present. More importantly, I'm also into the Second Amendment (the right to bear arms), but it doesn't give me the right to fire live ammo on someone who's no threat to me.

Are you angry because I pointed this out, or angry because the only person entertained by your joke is yourself?
