We were on the road for 10 hours yesterday, and late in the day, somewhere in northern Virginia, just outside of DC, we were next to a gorgeous silver E38 on the expressway. My wife - who is NOT a car person whatsoever - looked out the window and asked "is that the same car you used to have?" I told her that it was, and she commented that about how nice a car it was, and that I should have kept it. Funny...

I still think the look of the car is truly timeless. I dont think many of the new cars will have such a timeless look. There are a few that I think are wonderfully exquisite, but not many.

I share your conclusory thoughts about being appreciative on this day for all that I have...a wonderful family, a great job and a roof over my head.

I hope everyone has a marvelous holiday weekend with the ones that they love most...
