Well after much delay in getting to doing the work, it's complete! Probably the first in Nova Scotia also. Along with vanos repair, new valve cover gasket (highly recommended) and fresh spark plugs. I was amazed how brittle the valve cover gasket was, just like hard plastic. Of course it broke up into pieces trying to remove it. Similarly the vanos seals were brittle, however both inner seals not quite so, but bad enough.

Instructions as posted are very good so if anyone is intimidated by the overall job, don't be, just round up all the tools and follow the instruction provided by Rajaie.

The engine also started just as if nothing even happened and didn't skip a beat. Engine is quieter, no cold stall during warm up, bogging is gone...just the breakend period now, 500Km to go...
