What do you think of the job I've done with sanding them (I'm not exactly a pro when it comes to wood work mind you)?

It seems to me that all (but the shifter piece) need more sanding down to get rid of that previous deep colouring out. I figured this because after sanding down the shifter piece, a lot of the old stain was sanding out and exposing the wood for what it really is.

Another clue is the colour differences between the panels.
