Last night a friend and I removed all the wood paneling from my 735i (fastening them back isn't going to be fun).

I had a couple of questions here:

1. I managed to break 3 clips used on the door side panels; any idea where I could find replacements or any ideas that'll fasten them? Maybe I could use the middle clips from the longer panels on the ones that have a missing one?


2. Can you give me some opinions on how you think I should refinish the wood? I've found several sites regarding re-finishing and some have clear coats while others don't. I'm mostly concerned how it'll handle the sun (i.e. clear coat melting, finish quickly fading, etc.)
