Boy was I wrong.

The car ran a lot longer than before, but still died.

This time, the anti lock light came on on the dash.
Several minutes later, the check engine light came on.
No LCD panel messages, so that was a separate problem.
Tach started falling to zero occasionally.
Started losing power every once in a while, then more often, till it finally would not do more than idle. AAA to the rescue at that point.

My thought is that there is a problem in the anti lock system, based on the that warning light coming on first. Anyone seen anything like this, and have some advice for fixing?
