not indicate that you should run the tire at the maximum PSI that you mentioned. There's a link to the PSI chart in one of my replys above...you can check it out if you want to. :-)

What PSI anyone choses to run in their tires is entirely their own decision to make...whether it be higher or lower than what the mfg sticker recommends. What I was bringing attention to was your statement that inferred that you're SUPPOSE to run the maximum PSI that's printed on the side of the tire.

Feel free to re-read my reply again, and you will see in the last paragraph that I left it open for adjustment...I said something to the affect that one could "start" with what was recommended...which alludes to that higher or lower PSI could be chosen by the owner based on what feels better for them.

One thing I really appreciate about this thread is the chart on Falkens website. That bit of information is very handy in figuring out a good PSI when choosing tires that have a different "load index" than what originally came on the car.
