Subject: Possibly they are WHITER, I don't know if they are actually brighter...

...but I tell you, they *almost* make even the Xenon's look yellow. Xenons are stock NA (I seem to have gathered there are some whiter ones available? - Rogue7 maybe has them in his?).

And, they are bright. My initial plan was, put them to the parking lights and make my life easy. I usually drive with parking lights on (minimum) even during the day, so I figured that'd be like AE on all the time, but I'm decided I wanted full control both because the dash light WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL, but also because I was frankly SHOCKED at dusk just how bright they were...I figured some cop is going to pull me over for sure, so I might actually like to have full control to be able to shut them down at night after the first such ticket.

Now, maybe they aren't that bright, and maybe it's just the control freak in me that wanted them wired as I ultimately did (and the desire to mess with stuff), but I was really impressed. If the e39 weren't a sealed beam making the whole thing a total pain, I'd be popping them in that car too (Too many fun projects upcoming on the 7 anyway, so the e39 will just have to suffer and wait its turn). The OEM AE on the e39 seem, I'm afraid, a little lame now. If I didn't have the Style 19s for when I mostly drive that car now (winter -- staggered snows...ha!), which really make that car pop, I'd be depressed ;-)
