The weather cooperated and we had another good turnout today. In all, 14 cars showed up, (11 E38, 2 E32 and Joe's MB). Doug, Jeff & I received our Basslink in time and with Mike's (Petrolero) guidance, proceed with the DIY project. 90 minutes later, Jeff & Doug had their Basslink up and running, pounding out nice deep bass worthy of system costing much more. Jeff & Doug will post their impressions and of the Basslink and its installation later on. My attempt came to a quick halt when the Navigation unit refuses to come out.

Several new members (Roger, Bill & Kirk) attended our Meet today. I apologize if I miss or mispronounced anyone's name. Roger aka TXDarth, a true BMW DIY expert, went right into help mode, fielded and answered many questions. Bill just got into a minor accident, but made it to the meet, and received fresh ideas for his front end repair work (2001 Look for his 98 E38). Kirk expanded our E32 lineup by 100% today.

Special thanks to Nino of Euro-Connection, many people opted to take advantage of the free oil & filter change deal he donated,

Our next Meet is tentatively set for sometime late April or mid-May. This will be a social event, we will be having lunch at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine , including a Group Cruise of Grapevine Lake.

Let's not forget Lone Star Chapter BMW CCA 2005 Calender of Events. I highly recommend DFW7 members who are not yet part of the LSCBMWCCA to join BMW CCA Membership. While it is true that LSCBMWCCA does not yet provide event specific BMW 7 Series, the membership benefits are abundant. Not only do you save money in the purchase of your next BMW (see rules), many DFW shops that host Tech Session now require BMW CCA membership in order to participate, since this membership offers liability insurance coverage.

Enjoy the drive and see you in couple months!
