I am not a big fan of the extended warranties for the same reason mentioned by Kenakazi; so as a result I have not had direct experience with them.

I would think you would still have some of the manufacturer's warranty outstanding, no? In any case, issues that you will want to be aware of are these:
Radiator failure at any moment from here on out; you may want to take the preventative approach, or at least watch it very closely.
Catalytic converters R&R around 60k miles which aren't cheap.
Suspension parts depending upon your driving style and your driving wants/needs in this department.
Brake rotors & pads
Those are a couple items that come immediately to mind; the rest would be less expensive maintenance items like fluids and filters.

So depending uypon whether any of the big-ticket items are covered by the warranty, that would indicate which direction to go.
