aside --- Ian - Hang in there! This Economy will turn around in November!!!



So I go hunting every year for dear in Minnesota.

I a am sick of my '93 Caddy ETC. (Early production Northstar - the enging was perFect!!!).

I stop at a local BMW dealer after getting my Caddy washed before going hunting. They offer me enough $ to keep me there for 5 more minutes. I see a black short body 7. Test drive it. Test drove an '01 long body 7 and say I'll take the short one. (it cornered much tighter.)

I hunt, bag a deer, head home and get a call from my bmw salesman -

So how's your 7?

I say its great - but I think I'd rather have the sport version (bmw rookie speaking...). He says OK I'll look around.

3 weeks go by. I get a call from the salesmen - Your 7 Sport is in (short body, black on black). I said how much (they were both '01s) He said what ever that feature upgrade costs. So I said sure - I'll take it. I swap my 7 for his (his actually had 1K less miles). Next day I get a call from him - (he was a rookie salesman) - his business manager is all P'd off - seems he bought my car back at cost and this guy is in big trouble. I sold my car at retail and bought at retail! This salesman got hit hard. But he sold the seller of my car a new 7 and he wanted to do the whole turn...

This car just rocks and I cherish every minute I drive it.
