Ok this is tonight studies , i have not tried it on the car yet it's to late to run down the street in a screaming v12 .
working with the EKM box and powering it up i did these bench tests

power in pin 1 on the x42 EMK 12v+ constant
power in pin 5 on the x42 EMK 12v+ switched
ground in pin 4 on the x42 EMK ground / earth
power in pin 1 on x39 EMK 12v+switched


the VSS speed sensor input pin 14 on the x40 EMK
the VSS speed sensor ground pin 5 on the x40 EMK
the VSS speed sensor output pin 14 on the x39 EKM that goes to pin 73 on DME's and pin 8 on EML

i found this out by grounding the VSS input to the VSS ground it sends 8.33 + to the VSS output that goes to pin 73 on DME's and pin 8 on EML basically bypass the vehicle speed sensor is what i did so i will put the box in tomorrow and see what happens ? if it works i will just put a 12v+ and bring it down to 8.5 volts with a resistor into the speed sensor wire that goes to the DME's and EML and get rid of the EMK box .
cross your fingers and let's hope this works .

this is a 93 M-70v-12 with the 352 DME's
