Subject: M70 Engine swap RPM problem , No Speed Signal

well i posted this on the e31 form and shogun suggested i post it over here .
i took this m70 engine out of a crashed 93 850ci and keep the bare minimum to keep it running .
i have downloaded the pdf wiring diagrams and studied everything i need to make it run in another vehicle , well it runs great for a few blocks then i get a missing problem and no full throttle ? come back to the shop and run codes and i get a no speed signal code . i am running a manual trans now so there are no speed sensors at all telling the computers what the trans is doing , the engine is looking for the bmw auto transmission , is there a way to fool the dme's /eml ? i tried grounding the pin 63 and 64 from the dme's but get a egs ground short code .
the egs box is gone and so is the a25 body elect module i know the speed signals run through them .
what can i do to get past this problem ? i was going to try a ABS pulse sensor and try to get a signal off of a axle and run it to the dme's [img]http://www.shatterstonerocks.com/images/100_1630.JPG[img]
