I had the 535iA out for a test drive today and fixed a few rust patches on it, as well as fix the muffler rattling against the chassis/trailer hitch mountings. Under a week now until it is hopefully approved for being back on the road again. Monday the 11th is the big day.

As soon as the 5er is out of the garage...

5er and 7er garaged for storage/restauration

...I can make room to start working on the 750. I rented this garage at work and hope to fit a car lift so I can do any work on it myself. Just need to clear a bit more room beside the car.

So I guess both of us will be busy wrenching on our vehicles when you get your garage done as well. I myself am really eager to get started and hope to by summer 09 enjoy the fruits of spending most my spare time in the garage this winter.

These are wonderful driving machines. And great looking when in good shape.

'89 535iA - 208.000km (back on the road aug 11th...?)
'90 750iAL - sold at 218.000km and has passed away...
