Once an upgrade from an earlier nav model is done, the "Info & Select" buttons apparently do not function as they have to be coded to the car. If coded (or the software is downgrade/upgraded) to restore these buttons' functions, do you lose split screen ability or not? I have read you cannot have both, it's one or the other.

Also, I take it that disconnecting the battery to reset the nav will not restore the Info & Select buttons? TIA.
