We've had maybe 2 people on the board with timing chain guide or tensioner issues, I don't think that makes it a "they all do that" problem.


I plan to leave my tensioners and guides alone when I replace my upper timing chain cover gaskets in a few weeks.

However, out of curiosity, how involved is it to replace the guides and tensioner?
