Subject: See my notes on the MDX or Honda Pilot

Depends if you want reliability and are not to concerned about performance driving, I have no hesitation recommending these as a 7 passenger SUV option.

The Pilot 2WD, takes regular and gets better mileage. The Acura is AWD and wants premium. The extra 5hp in the Acura vs. the Pilot is not noticeable.

The MDX comes standard with Nav, DVD, XM, Bluetooth, etc, etc. And all of it works seamlessly.

Neither is like driving a BMW. Look underneath and you'll see that the suspension components on the X5 make the Honda/Acura components look like toys. But the Honda never breaks, is safe and easy to drive and cheap to live with.
