Mine has been doing that for a year. The steering still works just be smooth when making a turn and keep the revs down and DO NOT allow anyone else to drive it until you get it repaired. Speaking of getting it repaired, buy a power steering pump ASAP and install it yourself if you are reasonably good with wrenches, it's a simple job.

The Power steering pump has failed but not completely so just get anothe one but get ubnder your car and see exactly which model you have as there were several used throughout the years of production. You are looking at around 350.00 to 400.00 as best as I can remember.

I am the only one driving my car and I rarely drive it these days anyway (the Harley gets MUUUUUUUCH better mileage!)
