1. If you have TV, you could simply use the AV input. Composite video, mono audio. Works, and is easy

2. If you don't have TV, then you could get a video input module eg for the reverse camera, and use that. Still composite video.

3. You could try and connect the RGB video to the RGB of the screen. You'll need to check if the laptop supports the screen size (in pixels).
Also, you need to change from standard RGBS to RGsB (sync on green).
Thos who fit car PCs tend to go for direct RGB connection to get maximum resolution. So try researching BMW Car PC to see what you can find.
