With 26 PIN's and only a couple used for the rear camera, then a couple more for the front camera, the rest must be for some use.
Why else would BMW have such an connector?

I was going to pull the circuit board to see the backside, but didn't want to break the heatsink paste on the one transistor...



For reference, I did buy the cheeper kit (no control box w/ +6 VDC output)... 66-21-0-303-083 @ $310 LIST
I already had the OEM Rear Camera kit that I got cheep off E-Bay, which includes the control box.


As for additional Video inputs, I see no reason you couldn't daisy chain two of these kits together, to have 4 video inputs total!
