so the included harness will work with either video input desired. The harness is not pinned out when you get the kit, you have to do it.

Take a look at the picture of the kit parts and you will see what I mean. One end of the long harness does not have a plug or connector on one end...just loose female pins that must be inserted into the 26 pin blue connector that has only one purple and white wire.
