Subject: Re: Can you post the schematic?

I've got the same schematic...I know this is going to get confusing. From what I'm being told from 3 parts stores is that the car uses a 5 prong relay...0332014112 by bosch for both the main and the fuel pump.

Here is a redux of what I had tried to illustrate last time. This is printed on the side of the fuel pump relay (bosch 0332014112) it does match the ETM illustration however, the second 87 terminal is unlabled in the ETM

the second "87" in the upper right hand corner has a green and brown (hard to tell could be violet) wire that goes to the unidentified relay in this picture.

Then there is another wire that goes from the unidentified relay to the purge valve relay (again green and brown...I think) looks like this (sorry about my terrible photo shop job here guys):

So here is where I'm at. First where this all started Two weeks ago in the rain the car started acting funny, after parking it seemed like it was running on 3 cylinders. Turned the car off, then it wouldn't turn back on at all. Checked the battery, which had hardly any charge, even after having driven the car for a while. Decided it must be the alternator, or the chopped up wire harness. Jumped the car a couple days later when it was dry...ran OK, still like it wasn't 100% but enough to get it home (turn it off and tried to start it again...and nothing happened, until it was jumped again). Replaced the wire harness section that was bad, replaced the Alternator, then this problem was where I was left at (starts, then off).

Since then: Replaced both the Main, and Fuel relays with new Bosch 03320414112, checked every connection on the repaired section of harness to make sure power is consistent...it is (while in the on position, haven't tried at crank yet but will when is stops raining). Picked up a brand new battery, checked all fuses...no change. Still starts for about 15 seconds and turns it's self off.

So here is my question, Both of us, had issues with water, at least starting off. Is it possible it could be a faulty neutral safety switch?
