A bog standard, base model 120i hatch would be $52,233.78 (€33,000)

We do have a sh1t load of tax on cars here - but the current excange rate (dollar keeps on sinking) makes it look even worse. Last year the basic 120i would have been $44,000.

Just the exchange rate has added over $8,000 in 12 months. If this keep up we will be re-importing US e38's for cheap parts!
