Shop around and you can get them for a reasonable price. For best results I would not go over 6000k for color temperature. I have 5000k in the headlights, and 4300k in the fogs.

I would only use one if you have the ellipsoid headlights. I had one in my car for a while and it worked pretty good. I removed it since the plastic around the bulb holders was falling apart. Beware that the bulbs and ballasts prone to failure quite often, and replacements cost quite a bit.

Currently I have Euro ellipsoids modified to accept the D2S capsule, as per Johan on his site. I have been working on installing true HID projectors from a Acura TSX in the regular housings, but so far thats been pretty hard, and I've put it off until I have the car running right.

I had clear glass on mine when I retrofitted a true HID projector, the pattern and light output were good.

I have been trying to retofit a pair of HID projectors from a Acura TSX, but its pretty hard, plus I have to get the car running right before I update anything.
