Subject: Re: LAD regulating valve - disassembled pics

I am getting ready to try a rebuild on my one of my leaking LAD struts. I spent 10 years in the scuba world rebuilding regulators the design is not that dissimilar on the LAD regulator and valve. I have done a great deal of research on the repair but haven't found any info regarding the type of o-rings. Nitrile Buna seems to be the composition but I can not find a thing about the durometer. The standard o-ring has a durometer of 70 but some of the heavy equipment rams use something around a 90. The harder the durometer the less chance of an o-ring pressure failure, but the more prone it becomes to leakage because the seal is not as good. Anyone have any thoughts?
