It depends on your radio. I guess you have no NG BM53/54, don't you?
The navi will translate the new SELECT/INFO key for your old radio only if it is coded to do so.

There are several ways to change this setting in the navi:
- you can visit your dealer to code your navigation unit
- you use e.g. NavCoder to change the radio setting of the navigation to match your radio
- You can downgrade to an old V21 SW version of the navi and then upgrade again. As the EEPROM layout changed from V22 on the old SW version will revert the EEPROM settings and thus you will end up with old radio (this you want) AND EURO mode (dunno if you like this) -> of course no split screen, too.
