Hello all, I usually post in E38,E34 and E30 forums as I do not own an X5. However my brother does own an X5. So this enquiry is for he and his wife. 02 X5 runs great other than lately his has been getting a check control message to "Check Brake light" Check rear lights". It's hard to read but that because their cluster is now un-readable. Pixels. I checked both bulbs and both were working although both looked like they were pretty old. I only had one new bulb (brake light). I also noticed that when the brakes were depressed both light were working. And no check brake light as it was reported to me. I changed out the bulb with a new one. And then the check brake lights came on as well only the passenger side brake light illuminated. Any ideas???
